Purpose of Role
As a Support Desk Technician you will be logging, triaging and troubleshooting technical issues from our customers to resolve their issues as quickly as possible. You'll spend time learning and increasing your skills on our technical stack, to ensure prompt and swift resolutions for the customer. You will escalate any issues to more senior technical resources as needed to ensure swift resolution.
Job Requirements and Responsibilities:
Logging incidents and requests through the service management tool
Provide support for a wide range and constantly evolving applications, software & hardware
Follow company processes to maintain governance standards across our customers
Identify repeat issues or service risks to management team
Manage scheduled tasks for customers
Take ownership of faults in a logical manner, escalating where needed
Attending customer sites to resolve issues or carry our technical project work.
Communicate potential internal improvements issues to business leadership
Build strong relationships with customers, and a detailed understanding of our services
Delivery a customer centric service to customers, ensuring delivery of excellent levels of service
Work to establish customer needs, identify opportunities for additional services and upsell opportunities
Any other duties as required
Appropriate competencies for this role:
Ideally experiance of working for an IT Support company, or in a customer services role
A good understanding and hands on experience of Microsoft 365, Windows, Office and basic networking
Great communications skills both verbal and written
Good and efficient problem solving, with a focus on quick fixes
Able to follow processes and procedures
The ability to work well under pressure in a fast moving and dynamic business
The ability to work at both our office in Cranleigh (3 days) and at home (2 days)
Eligibility to live and work in the UK
A full UK/EU driving licence
