Purpose

As a Support Manager at Shaw Trust, your mission is to empower individuals facing multiple barriers to employment, guiding them toward sustainable employment opportunities. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and is passionate about making a positive impact on people\'s lives.

You will manage a diverse caseload of participants, working collaboratively to create personalised action plans for their journey to sustainable employment. Your exceptional organisational and communication skills will be put to the test as you build and maintain strong relationships with employers and community stakeholders.

Your responsibilities include achieving service delivery targets, conducting assessments, updating databases, and brokering relationships with key stakeholders. Additionally, you will provide in-work support to help individuals maintain employment and supervise volunteers to create a supportive community network.

Essential:

You will have:

• Minimum of 5 GSCEs (A to C) or equivalent qualifications
• Strong track record of successfully working to targets and KPIs
• Experience in successfully managing and progressing clients or customers to meet their agreed goals and ambitions
• An understanding of, and positive attitude towards: mental and physical health; community and social inclusion; and a strengths and assets based approach to engaging participants
• Excellent organisational skills and time management
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
