An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Younger Persons Support officer to join our team at Ludlow Foyer.
We are looking for a positive and engaging support officer to deliver high quality support outcomes with the use of SMART support plans to enable and prepare young people to successfully transition into independence.
A big part of this role is supporting young people at Ludlow Foyer. You should be able to build good working relationships with our young people. We encourage independence and help develop skills that will enable them to successfully secure and sustain accommodation.
You need to be confident when dealing with outside agencies to aid the growth of the service by developing new links and partnerships within the local community, with particular emphasis on training, employment and work-based activities.
Are you able to engage young people? Can you think outside the box? Are you able to remain calm in times of crisis? If yes, this role could be for you!
The hours are based on a 6- day Rota on shifts Monday - Saturday and shifts are 9am to 5.30pm, 10am to 6.30pm or 1.30pm to 10pm.
