We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual, with at least 2 years' experience of supporting young people.
The role of a Support Officer means that you will be accountable for a case load of young people, providing housing related support to meet their individual needs and develop their independent living skills.
We deliver trauma-informed, outcome-focussed support and guidance as a Support Officer you will:-
Forge strong, trusting relationships.
Foster independent living skills and tenancy management.
Promote active participation within our service and the community.
We are looking for someone who is approachable, flexible and is able to demonstrate a commitment to achieving successful outcomes, including transition and move-on for the young people we support, in line with our organisational values. You should also be able to work positively with our partners, prioritise your workload and work closely with our on-site Support Workers, giving appropriate direction when required.
Being on-call on a rota basis is a requirement of the job role and an additional payment is made for this.
