dedicated and organised Administration Officers to join our Support Services Team. As the Administration Officer, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day management of the parish administration. Our aim is for the Administration Officer to relieve the administrative burden, currently shouldered by individual parishes and to enable the role-specific tasks to be completed more efficiently and so free people up for mission and ministry.
You will be expected to provide operational excellence in line with best practices and agreed protocols, ensuring seamless administration support; promote a positive work culture that encourages growth and development.

Main Responsibilities:
To provide the administration for the:
Parish of Warrington PCC meetings and APCM meetings
PCC policies
Electoral Roll
PA to the Team Rector
Enquiries from clergy, churches, worshipping communities, external parties
Clergy diary management for occasional offices
Booking of occasional offices - TBC
Reporting to the PCC the work of the Support Services Team
Preparation of parish-wide communications (images and narrative)
Sending out parish-wide communications using Churchsuite and other channels eg Facebook
Updating information on the parish-wide website
Parish-wide social media protocol
Keeping up-to-date the Contact Management System
Safer Recruitment and DBS of all roles as required
Volunteer contract process
Organising of Safeguarding training as required
Buildings compliance tracker for all annual building checks
Preparation of Faculty submissions including tracking and liaison
Liaison with IT support company
Assistance with ad hoc applications for grants and funding
Photocopying
Furthermore,
Contribute to efficient administration and shared file systems, for example, Microsoft 365 including Sharepoint
undergo training as appropriate, especially in the use of bespoke software packages

Minimum of 5 GCSE (or equivalent) passes with good passes in English language and mathematics or relevant experience
