We are looking for a compassionate, reliable and motivated Support Worker to join our team in a supported living home for adults with learning difficulties. This is a rewarding role where you will empower individuals to live as independently as possible while providing person-centred care, encouragement and practical support.

This position will start in February 2026 and will be covering maternity leave for a period of one year. If the successful candidate is the right fit and a suitable position becomes available, there may be the possibility to stay on beyond this period.

A full, valid driving licence is essential for this role.

About the role:
You will work alongside a small, friendly team to support residents in all aspects of daily living. This may include:

Supporting with personal care, hygiene and medication Assisting with meals, shopping and household tasks Encouraging independence and life skills Supporting individuals to attend appointments and activities Providing emotional support and companionship Maintaining accurate records and following care plans
About you:

Caring, patient and understanding Reliable and punctual Good communication skills Able to work as part of a team and independently Flexible to work shifts, including evenings and weekends Previous experience in care is desirable but not essential - full training will be provided Must hold a full UK driving licence

Pay: From 12.60 per hour
