Select Support+ is seeking a proactive, engaging

male support worker

to join the team of a 30?year?old man with learning disabilities. He requires someone who can support him to stay safe, make informed decisions, and maintain healthy boundaries, while helping him build structure and confidence in his daily life.

Due to the nature of his past and to ensure safe, appropriate support,

a male applicant is essential

.
A

driver is preferred

, as he is currently in the process of applying for a disability vehicle.

He enjoys

attending football matches

, going to the

golfing range

, and visiting

local arcades

. He thrives with someone who brings

energy, humour, and fresh ideas

-- someone he can have a bit of

banter

with, who will motivate him, encourage him, and help him enrich his day?to?day life.

He sometimes needs

extra motivation and persuasion

, so a patient, consistent, and upbeat approach is important.
Support will also include

shopping, meal planning, meal prepping, maintaining a clean home

, and helping him organise his week.

Please note: this is a self?employed position.

This role offers a consistent weekly rota of

Week1 Monday & Thursday & Week2 Friday

and consists of 24?hour shifts (8am-8am), made up of a 14?hour day shift followed by a 10?hour sleep?in, paid at

285 per shift

.
