Job Title: Support Worker - ABI Client (Non-Personal Care)
Location: Fleetwood UK
Hours: Full Day shifts 08:00 to 00:00 and/or Night shifts 00:00 to 08:00
Salary: 18/hour for Day shifts 12.21 for Night Shifts
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, empathetic, and proactive Support Worker to assist a client living with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) in Fleetwood. The role involves promoting independence and supporting the client with day-to-day activities, community engagement, family life, and recreational interests. This role does not include any personal care or medication administration.
MUST HAVE 12 months of similar experience

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 practical and emotional support tailored to the needs of the client. Assist in planning and engaging in daily routines and community activities. Encourage and promote the client's independence, confidence, and decision-making. Facilitate social interaction and access to local community services. Maintain clear and accurate records of sessions, progress, and any concerns. Ensure a safe and supportive environment at all times.

Candidate Requirements:
Essential:

Experience working with individuals with ABI or similar cognitive/neurological conditions. Understanding of professional boundaries and safeguarding practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and support without being overbearing. A respectful, family-oriented approach to working in a client's home environment. On line DBS (enhanced) update service References from line managers for the last 5 years 25 Years old or older with a full UK driving License
