We are seeking motivated, dedicated, and enthusiastic Support Workers to join our dynamic care team, supporting a young male living with an acquired brain injury. Our client lives in his own adapted home and leads a full and active lifestyle. He has an interest in cars, motorbikes and fishing. He enjoys days out, visits to the pub, concerts and comedy gigs. He takes regular holidays, both in the UK and abroad, accompanied by his support team. Our client has communication needs and utilises alternative communication methods. Detailed knoweledge of the English language is essential. You'll also be required to drive his wheelchair-adapted vehicle, enabling him to engage with his community and attend medical and therapy appointments including hydrotherapy.

As a Support Worker, you will:



Provide care in accordance with best practices, legislative requirements, and agreed standards, under the direction of the Case Manager / Care Coordinator. Deliver tailored, person-centred care unique to our client to support and enable him in maintaining skills and personal interests. Collaborate with families and therapists to achieve optimal care and rehabilitation outcomes. Monitor and record the client's health and rehabilitation progress using electronic care records and EMAR systems. Support the client with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, manual handling, medication administration, and communication.

Location:



The client's residential home in Hazel Grove, with flexibility to work at other locations at the discretion of the company and with appropriate notice.

Working Hours:



Full and part time posts available Shifts are 9am-9pm and 9pm-9am, worked flexibly across the week. The role involves working as part of a 2:1, 24/7 support team, including sleeping nights.

Pay:



13.52 day rate

14.56 weekend rate?

9.88 - 10.30 per hour sleep nights (12am - 8am)?
