We're looking for dedicated Support Workers to join our vibrant supported living services across Caerphilly Borough, including Blackwood, Ystrad Mynach, and Fleur De Llys. These are 24/7 services, so flexibility and reliability are key. You'll be part of a rotating schedule that includes a combination of day shifts, evening shifts, weekends, and sleep-in or waking night shifts. o Competitive hourly rate of 12.75 - equivalent to 24,531 annually (FTE) o Day Shifts: 7:30am-3:00pm / 3:00pm-9:30pm / 10:30am-10:00pm / 11:00am-7:00pm, including o Sleep-In Shifts: + 62.64 per shift or a o Waking Night Shifts: 10pm-7am (+12.15 + 20% per hour) If you're ready to bring your compassion, energy, and commitment to a role that truly matters we'd love to hear from you!

About the Role

Join us in providing person-centred support that truly makes a difference! You'll help people with physical and mental health needs in their homes and communities, supporting daily routines like meal preparation, medication, and household tasks, while also helping them enjoy activities they love, whether it's choir, arts & crafts, or pedal-powered adventures. You'll encourage independence, nurture friendships, and support people to explore volunteer opportunities and new experiences.

Duties could include:

Providing personalised support tailored to individual needs. Offering emotional support and positive encouragement. Completing light household tasks and basic administrative duties. Bringing fresh ideas and helping to improve ways of working. Checking and digitally recording medication stocks and personal finances in line with policy.

What You'll Need:

Experience working with people or customers Experience working as part of a team Basic literacy, numeracy and IT skills Flexibility - our services run 24/7 and shift patterns vary

A full UK manual driving licence

to be able to drive the Motability cars Due to the specific needs of the individuals we support [and current legal guidance], this role is only open to applicants who are biologically female.
Experience working with vulnerable individuals, particularly those with mental health needs or learning disabilities, is desirable but not essential. We provide full training and ongoing development to support your success in the role.

What are the pay and benefits?

Competitive salary of 24,531.00 FTE (12.75 per hour) Sleep-in rate: 62.64 per 8 hour shift Waking night rate: 20% Enhancement from 11pm to 7am Enhanced DBS which we will pay for 26 days (pro rata) holiday entitlement plus Bank holidays, rising to 27 days after 1 years' service or cash equivalent of 1 days' annual leave Pension scheme.
