Job Summary:

We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Support Workers to work with childrenand young people across the Manchester locality. You will play a crucial role in supporting childrenwith a variety of needs, including emotional, behavioural, and developmental challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide day-to-day support to children in residential, community, or home settings.- Promote a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment.- Implement individual care and support plans in line with the child?s needs.- Assist with daily routines including meals, education support, and recreational activities.- Support children with emotional regulation, social skills, and behaviour management.- Maintain accurate records and reports in line with regulatory requirements.- Work collaboratively with families, social workers, education staff, and other professionals.

Requirements:

- Previous experience working with children in a care or support setting.- An understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to build positive and trusting relationships with children and young people.- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.- Relevant qualifications in Health & Social Care or Childcare (desirable).Benefits:- Competitive hourly rates between 15 - 20.- Flexible working hours.- Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.- Supportive team environment.We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Pay: 28,080.00-37,440.00 per year
