We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. Responsibilities
Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive environment.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in behaviour or condition to the appropriate personnel.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to mechanical knowledge and safety protocols relevant to the role.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Support Worker or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
Valid driving licence
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Ability to work flexible hours as required by client needs, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
