What You'll Be Doing

As a Support Worker, you'll provide both practical assistance and emotional support, ensuring safety, comfort, and well-being. Daily support will include community-based activities such as:

Swimming Going to the park & walks Theme parks & dining out Gym sessions Sailing & cycling Going to the movies
You'll be fully involved in these activities, working alongside the client to promote independence, social inclusion, and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver safe, person-centred care and support. Administer medication as required. Monitor, record, and report any changes in health or behaviour. Work in partnership with families, colleagues, and professionals to ensure consistent support. Maintain accurate records including care plans, medication charts, and incident reports.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience working with adults or children with challenging behaviour and complex needs (essential). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Compassion, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to cover evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed. A valid UK driving licence, access to a vehicle with business insurance, and willingness to transport clients in both your own and the client's vehicle (essential).

Requirements

Education: GCSE or equivalent (preferred). Experience: At least 1 year in a care setting (required). Language: English (required). Licence: Full UK Driving Licence (required).
