We are looking for a dedicated
Senior Support Worker
to join our team at either Locks Heath or Fareham. This role is vital in supporting our mission to provide a nurturing, safe, and enriching environment for children and young people with learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
Provide direct support to children and young people, ensuring a safe, positive, and nurturing environment.
Support the development and delivery of individual care plans.
Engage children in activities that promote social, emotional, and educational growth.
Lead and delegate responsibilities to the staff team, ensuring effective planning and smooth running of shifts.
Supervise, support, and mentor junior staff members.
Undertake delegated management responsibilities and
on-call duties as required.
Act as a keyworker, maintaining accurate records of progress and wellbeing.
Work in partnership with families, professionals, and external agencies.
Attend professional meetings as required.
Uphold the values and objectives outlined in the home's statement of purpose.
Qualifications & Skills
NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Care
(or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of childcare principles and best practices.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to create and implement care plans effectively.
Basic IT skills (training can be provided).
A full driving licence is desirable, though not essential.
