15.00 per hour, 12.21 per hour training rate

Contract:

72 hours per month, 2 x day shifts per week

About The Role

Your role will be dedicated to working with a young person with Robinow Syndrome and other complex care needs including a tracheostomy and ventilator on a 1:1 vacancy. Working to build a professional, working relationship and supporting them with their activities of daily living, in social and leisure activities at home or in the community.

Fridays

- This includes helping the client get ready for school, taking them there, staying with them there, then bring them home.

Sundays

- This includes taking them out for the day or spending all day at home with them.

This post will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service Check.

Hours of Work

Every Friday: 7am -5pm

Every Saturday OR Sunday: 8am - 4pm

Rates of Pay:

15.00 per hour

Training Rate 12.21 per hour

About You

Required

Experience of working in a support role

Friendly, approachable and confident

Experience and ability to understand and deal with complex needs

Flexible in approach to meet the needs of the client

Desirable

Registered on the DBS update service
