We are looking for support workers to support three gentleman to live the lives they choose. These three men have lived together for decades in their small, supported living bungalow in Fishponds, since 2020.



All three men aged 79-83 love living in their home and are looking for personal assistants to help them to maintain their lives.



Whilst independence is important everyone needs your support with all aspects of their lives, from personal care, menu planning and cooking, household chores and shopping, achieving their goals, and support them to access the local and wider community as well with in-house activities such as baking, art and crafts, boccia, board games, dancing to you tube videos, gardening and much more.



Medication competency and support to recognise health issues and to attend health appointments is vital as each person has current health needs that need to be observed and reacted to.



Shifts patterns are 08:00-15:30 we have two people on shift during these times and lone working 15:30-23:00 sleep in 07:00-08:00. We require staff who can work flexibly to include sleep in shifts and weekends.



We need you to be IT literate to use digital care plans and medication systems. Attention to detail is vital.



Supporting everyone to communicate their needs means being observant of body language and behaviours as they may not be able to directly tell you what's going on. You will need to be confident in reporting any safeguarding concerns.

As their mobility has a declined a car driver is essential.
