Job Description
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated support workers to join our team.
As a support worker, you will provide essential support and assistance to 6 individuals, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.
```Duties:```
- Assist and prompt clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Help with meal preparation when required
- Promoting independence
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up
- Administer medication
- Escort clients to appointments and into the community
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
```Qualifications:```
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of working with those with challenging behaviour
- Knowledge of learning disabilities and mental health
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
