Margaret Roper House and Ainsdale Care in the Community are part of Nugent and provide compassionate support and quality care to vulnerable adults with long-term mental health conditions. Our mission is to empower individuals by fostering an inclusive, supportive environment that prioritises their dignity and rights. The Support Worker with Activities will work across all Ainsdale sites, playing a vital role by organising tailored daily activities while offering emotional and physical support to residents. They will create pathways for individuals, empowering our residents to move onto independent living with support.
Experience:
The ideal candidate for the Support Worker position will possess strong communication and organisational skills, ideally with a valid driving license to operate the home's transport.
They should have relevant experience working with vulnerable adults, a basic understanding of care standards, and a commitment to completing the Care Certificate within 12 weeks.
Personal qualities such as compassion, empathy, reliability, and a dedication to ongoing training are essential.
The candidate must respect residents' dignity and individuality while fostering a warm and supportive environment, aligning with Nugent's values of integrity, compassion, and respect.
The candidate must be able to work on a rolling rota basis inclusive of weekends.
