12.91 per hour + 500 Welcome bonus

Full time 37.5 hours per week, part time hours considered

Please note - it is an essential requirement of this role to have a full, clean driving licence and to be able to drive a manual car/van to support people in accessing the community

Forest View is a service supporting 7 individuals with learning disabilities in their home. Forestview is a 2-minute walk from Marlborough town centre and has beautiful views of Savernake Forest.

As a Support Worker, you will encourage positive self-image, maintain health and wellbeing, assist with decision-making and promote independence.

Supporting people to develop and maintain contact with family and friends, you will provide access to the community, enabling the people we support to participate in clubs, social events and creative endeavours.

Shift patterns are:

07:30 -15:00, 13:30 - 21:00, sleep-ins (12pm to 12pm the next day) and Waking nights (21:00-07:30).

The successful Support Worker will:

Have excellent communication skills. Have knowledge of Learning disabilities Have a caring manner and a tolerant nature. Be able to support people with their personal hygiene needs and have some understanding of non-verbal communication. Be an enthusiastic and energetic member of the team.
