Waking Night Support Worker / Market Harborough

We have an exciting opportunity for a caring and compassionate individual to join our Family Residential Centre as a Waking Night Support Worker.

This post includes a Night Shift Premium allowance to recognise the unsociable hours.

Salary: 26,142.40 - 29,463.72 + Night Shift Premium allowance
Key Responsibilities

Build trust and develop nurturing relationships that promote the service user's independence, well-being, strengths, and capabilities. Work in partnership with parents/carers and other professionals. Contribute to the upkeep of the home, including cooking and cleaning. Document information accurately and ensure records are up to date. Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures. Promote, monitor, and maintain a safe environment at all times.
Essential Requirements:

Relevant experience working with children and young people and their families. A good understanding of safeguarding and the protection of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. Flexibility to commit to shift work, including weekends and bank holidays. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Night staff are expected to be available during the day, with advance notice, to attend scheduled mandatory training and group supervision sessions.
