; There are set shift patterns working across 2 cases in the Carlisle area. To apply for this role, you must be available to work across these shifts - additional shifts may be available during times of annual leave or sickness.

Case 1 - Morton Park, Carlisle (CA2)
The lady we support has a genetic disorder, learning difficulties and is non-verbal. She requires nursing, personal care, she does sometimes suffer from seizures and there is medication to be administered. She lives in her own fully adapted home with family and her dog who she adores, so it's essential that team members are comfortable around pets. She enjoys listening to music, watching TV and films and having books read to her, and getting out into the community, but most of all she enjoys the interacting with her staff. It's really important that her staffing team are friendly and engaging, but above all, staff who understand the importance of safe, respectful and dignified care. To provide the best support, we're looking for individuals who can match her upbeat personality and share her sense of humour.
Case 2 - Low
Hurst, Wreay (CA4)
The lady we support has MS and requires personal care, catheter care and general household duties. She uses a mobile hoist for all transfers and has an electric wheelchair which she controls independently. She lives with her husband, three cats, goldfish and tortoise, so it important staff are comfortable around pets. She loves nothing more than spending an afternoon watching a movie or box set series, or completing crosswords and sudoku. gardening, baking or bird watching! Having a great relationship with her team is very important to her, this is achieved through providing great care, having good sense of humour and, someone who is confident in their care delivery ability.
