Support Worker

Our teams provide individualised care and support for people with learning disabilities, autistic people and people with physical disabilities living in their community. Park House, located close to Maidenhead railway station, is home to

eight

people with mild learning disabilities and autism. We recognise that each person has unique interests, needs and preferences, and we support our customers to be self-sufficient and work closely with them and their support networks to explore options to help them reach their goals.

We are recruiting for a

part-time

support worker to work 30 hours a week - covering a mix of mornings, afternoons, weekends and sleep-ins.

Your role will be to support our customers in their day-to-day lives and could include assistance with personal care, managing medication, shopping and meal preparation, and supporting with emotional and physical wellbeing. We also provide support with life skills such as improving confidence, managing finances and being part of the local community to maintain important relationships.

Experience in the care sector would be beneficial but is not necessary as full training is provided, including classroom-based learning, shadowing experienced staff and online sessions.
