Hours

: Full time, 37.5 per week

Rota pattern:

7.15am - 9.45pm - 2on - 4 off on a six-week rolling pattern including some weekends and up to three sleep ins per month

Salary: 23,985.00 - 25,116.00 pa

(dependent on qualifications & experience)

About us

Park House is a community based residential home for up to nine young adults with severe learning difficulties and challenging behaviour. It is situated in the town of Bromyard within two minutes' walk of the town centre. Contained within the main home there is also a flat which consists of bedroom, lounge and kitchen facilities.

This enables residents to live in a semi-supported environment, for young adults making their next step towards independent living.

About the role:

We are seeking Support Workers to support the young adults that we care for. We are looking for pro-active individuals who can demonstrate compassion, empathy and a person-centred approach to caring for our young people. You will be providing personal care to residents as well as supporting them in a wide range of learning, development and social activities including arts and crafts, cookery, music, gardening, swimming, shopping trips and social occasions.

No previous experience is required as full training will be given.

If you have the right values for our organisation, you will be supported by a programme of continuous training, learning and development, including the care certificate and NVQ level 3 in health and social care.
