Support Worker

Location: Thornbury, Bristol

Hours: 30 hours per week

Shifts : 10am - 11pm (sleep) then 7:30am - 10am.

Pay rate: 14.65 per hour

Driving Requirements:

A clean full UK manual driving licence is essential, as you will be required to drive the person, we support's vehicle.

DBS Check

: This role is subject to a satisfactory DBS check, which will be provided by Prosperity Care & Wellbeing.

About the Role

You'll be supporting a friendly and outgoing young gentleman in his late 20s who lives at home with his family and several dogs. He requires assistance with specialist manual handling, personal care, medication, physiotherapy, as well as close supervision due to self-directed challenging behaviours. The service is equipped with cameras for monitoring, and full training will be provided.



He enjoys boxing, sailing, skiing, attending a brain-injury cafe, and visiting a dog hotel, so you'll accompany him to these outings. Being energetic, enthusiastic, and active is essential.
