Job Description

We're looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Support Workers to join our fantastic teams across Leicestershire!

The Role:

You'll be part of a supportive service providing a safe, nurturing environment for up to three young people (aged 8-18) at a time, each presenting with complex risks and behaviours.

Our focus is on providing opportunities for them to enjoy new experiences, establish friendships, and develop essential confidence, independence, and social/emotional skills.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Building trust and creating nurturing relationships

that genuinely promote each young person's independence, wellbeing, strengths, and capabilities. Working closely in

partnership with parents/carers

and other professionals. Contributing to the smooth, daily running of the home (e.g.,

cooking, cleaning, and upkeep

). Maintaining a

safe environment

at all times and ensuring all safeguarding policies and procedures are strictly followed. Accurately

documenting information

and keeping records up to date.
Essential Requirements

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare

OR the willingness to successfully achieve this within the required timeframe. A strong motivation to

make a positive difference

, create a safe space, and build resilience in young people's lives. The ability to demonstrate a

good understanding of safeguarding and protection

of vulnerable children and young people. The

flexibility to commit

to shift work, including

sleep-ins, weekends, and bank holidays.
