Nestled in the tranquil hamlet of Woodhouses, Staffordshire, Yew Tree House is a beautifully designed, three-bedroom children's home that provides a warm and nurturing environment for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. The home boasts a charming country cottage and farmhouse-inspired aesthetic, with exposed brickwork and beams in the spacious living area, creating a cosy yet expansive atmosphere. The large kitchen is perfect for communal cooking and learning, while an additional snug upstairs offers a quiet space for reflection or relaxation.
Each of our young people is provided with their own well-sized bedroom, designed to foster a sense of privacy and ownership. Equipped with a desk for private study, the rooms allow young people to express their personalities and preferences through decoration, ensuring their space is truly their own.
At Yew Tree House, we believe in the importance of balance--offering both a quiet haven for introspection and a lively space for outdoor play. Our large conservatory is an ideal place to unwind and reflect, while the generous garden invites young people to engage with nature. Whether relaxing by the firepit, swinging, bouncing on the trampoline, or spending time with our friendly chickens and resident cat, there's always something to enjoy in the open air.

About Bayleaf Care
Bayleaf Care provides exceptional care for children and young people across the UK, especially those who have faced trauma. We use the PACE model, which creates a safe, caring environment to help children feel secure and build positive relationships.
Our approach starts with the key worker, who forms a strong, trusting bond with the child. This relationship is essential for the child's development and continues throughout their care.
We offer personalized care, education, and treatment led by a team of trained professionals, helping children manage their emotions and behaviours in a safe, supportive environment.
There are currently 5 children's homes open, 2 of these homes have their own school onsite. Bayleaf is expanding with more children's homes on the horizon and we are also opening 2 leaving care homes and 3 CQC registered adult homes so that all our young people can remain in our care by transitioning into these services.
