Smile Care Services provides Supported Accommodation for young care leavers
We are OFSTED registered and aim to always provide quality support to young people 16-18 years, care leavers . Adhering to the regulations in place to ensure a safe, secure, caring environment for our young people . enabling them to reach their full potential and supporting young people to gain independence and empowering them to take lead in their support.
A support worker is responsible for providing assistance and support to individuals to help promote their independence and support the young people we support in reaching their goals and outcomes. some of the task that may be required of a support worker in our role may include:
1. completing daily welfare checks.
2. Supporting individuals in their daily activities, such as meal preparation, housekeeping, coursework and developing independence skills.
3. Providing emotional support and companionship to individuals, promoting their social and emotional well-being.
4. Assisting individuals in accessing community resources and participating in recreational activities.
5. Monitoring and documenting the progress and needs of individuals, reporting any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
6. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive support.
7. Adhering to all relevant policies and procedures, including safeguarding and confidentiality guidelines.
8. Promoting independence and empowering individuals to achieve their goals and maximize their potential.

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
