Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each client's needs.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in their condition.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive environment.
Skills
6 Months experience in a care home or home care setting is essential.
Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to facilitate clear communication with clients and colleagues.
Ability to drive and hold a valid driving licence.
Basic IT skills for maintaining records and using care management software.
Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
