Support Workers (bank And Senior Support Workers)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced support worker on a Bank basis, to work with a gentleman who has an acquired brain injury living in the Pershore area.
An opportunity has also arisen for a senior support worker position to oversee the day-to-day care of our client to include rotas / collection of times sheets/ monitoring holiday taken / keeping record of team training a full job description will be made available on application.
The successful applicant will join a well-established Support Team under the guidance of a Team Leader and Case Manager.
Our client is wheelchair-dependent and requires help with all of his daily activities, including personal care. Care is provided 24/7 on a 2:1 basis. He leads an active life and enjoys visiting local attractions such as motor shows and festivals, as well as going out into town for coffee.
The successful candidate will be expected to work to the care plans and prescribed therapy programmes set out by our client's team of therapists.
Our client seeks someone who is well organised, flexible and has proficient IT skills.
Working Hours:
Bank
Senior Support Worker - 36 hours per week
Rates of pay:
Bank: 14.50 per hour Monday to Friday, 16.50 per hour Saturday and Sunday.
Senior Support Worker: by negotiation according to experience.
All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult and Child Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided.
