We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team. Ideal candidates will provide essential assistance to children and young adults in need, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role requires a strong commitment to care and the ability to manage behaviours effectively while maintaining a safe and supportive atmosphere.
Duties
Build trusting relationships, show empathy and respect while working with children, their families and other professionals.
Having a composed and calm demeanour while working under pressure and responding to unexpected situations.
Render support that responds to each child's individual needs and align with overall care plans.
Support children who have been through trauma feel safe and secure, participate in activities, keep records of progress, working in a team, providing therapeutic care.
Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in children residential care
NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children & Young People, NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Children & Young People) or Level 3 Diploma for Children & Young People's Workforce or equivalent.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From 13.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 37 per week
