I'm Elijah - Will You Be Part of My Team?

Hello! My name is Elijah. I'm 12 years old and live at home in Charlton and spend time in Welling with the other members of my family. I love music, sensory play, spending time with my family and going on fun outings.

I have complex medical needs: I have Cerebral Palsy (CP), epilepsy, with over 30 seizures a day, and I am non-verbal. I use a wheelchair and am PEG fed, which means I need support with all my meals. Due to these needs, I rely entirely on adults for daily tasks such as personal care, mobility, therapy and safety. I'm looking for a team of skilled, compassionate carers who can provide high-quality, person-centred care in my family home.

This is more than just a job. It's an opportunity to make a real difference. You'll help me get ready in the morning, support me with my therapies, manage my seizures and make sure I am comfortable, safe and happy both during the day and at night. If you are experienced, reliable and genuinely passionate about helping others, we would love to hear from you.

You'll be part of a small, friendly team that works closely with my mum and my Case Manager. You'll never be on your own—we'll support you with training, supervision, and regular check-ins so you feel confident and valued in your role.

We have Integrity

We trust our carers to be honest, respectful, and professional. You'll be working in our home, so it's really important that you're someone who takes pride in doing the right thing—even when no one's watching.

We are Client Centred

That means me! Everything we do is about helping me live a happy, safe, and fulfilling life. You'll help me with PEG feeding, suctioning, hoisting, and all my personal care—but also with the fun stuff, like music and learning new things.

We are Quality Focussed

We want the best care possible. That's why we offer proper training (including The Care Certificate), regular supervision, and support from a dedicated HR team. You'll be encouraged to keep learning and improving so we can all do our best for each other.
