Role Summary
We are looking for
dedicated and reliable Support Workers
to join our
domiciliary and community care team in Ormskirk
. In this rewarding role, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their own homes and within the community, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver person-centred care and assistance with
personal hygiene, mobility, and daily living activities
.
Support individuals with
dementia, Alzheimer's, learning disabilities, and other complex needs
.
Administer or assist with
medication
(where trained and required).
Maintain
accurate documentation
of care provided, health observations, and progress notes.
Encourage and engage service users in
meaningful activities
that promote well-being and inclusion.
Ensure a
safe, clean, and comfortable environment
for all service users.
Work collaboratively with
families, healthcare professionals, and colleagues
to deliver coordinated care.
Uphold the values of
respect, dignity, and compassion
in every aspect of your work.
Requirements
Previous experience as a
Support Worker, Domiciliary Carer, or Healthcare Assistant
(essential).
Understanding of
person-centred care
and good knowledge of dementia or Alzheimer's care (preferred).
Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills
.
A caring, empathetic, and professional attitude.
Full UK driving licence
and access to your own vehicle (required).
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
First Aid certification
is desirable but not essential -- full training can be provided.
