Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? We are looking for Supported Accommodation Workers to join our Children and Young People's Services team, working primarily with Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) across North Yorkshire.
About the Role
As a Supported Accommodation Worker, you will provide day-to-day caring support and interventions to young people living in supported accommodation. You will work closely with them to build resilience, develop life skills, and prepare for adulthood. This role is key to delivering our Core Offer, which includes:

Self-Care
Social and Recreational Opportunities
Building Community and Support Networks
You will act as a Key Worker, developing individual progress plans and working collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure the best outcomes for young people.
What We're Looking For
Experience working with young people aged 16-25, ideally in a social care or supported accommodation setting.
Knowledge of safeguarding principles and child protection.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to converse confidently in English.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and occasional sleep-ins.
Commitment to promoting independence and resilience in young people.
A Level 3 Diploma (or willingness to work towards it) and an enhanced DBS check are required.
