We are recruiting to a key role managing our Out of Hours service, to ensure that residents on our campus have access to quality support during evenings and nights. It is crucial that our support is still available and of a high standard during these times when typically, traditional services are closed and when our residents often feel at their lowest.
The Supported Housing Manager Out of Hours will drive an open, transparent, friendly and caring culture that is focused on meeting the needs of residents, ensuring that the YMCA MK is a positive place for our young people. This role will support the team to effectively manage challenging behaviour and find ways to support residents who may faces crisis, both physically and mentally, out of hours.
This role will act as Designated Safeguarding Lead for Out of Hours and will act as strategic lead for the team.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience of managing a team supporting vulnerable adults in a complex needs and social housing environment. They will also have a background and understanding of delivering care which is person-centred, asset-based, and trauma informed. Ideally, they will experience of acting as Designated Safeguarding Lead in a social housing environment.
This role is full time working 37.5 hours on a rota across the week, including some evenings and weekends. We are flexible about the working pattern but ideally this will include core hours covering afternoons/evenings on a Friday and Saturday as these are often busy periods for our teams. The role is to start as soon as possible.
