Our support services are aimed at helping our customers develop the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to maintain a stable home and a structured lifestyle before assisting them in the process of securing or retaining permanent independent accommodation.

Are you passionate about supporting young people to maintain their tenancies and live independently?



We are looking for a proactive and compassionate Supported Housing Worker to join our team and deliver high-quality housing management services across our supported accommodation schemes and dispersed properties, supporting young people aged 16-25 who are care leavers, asylum seekers or at risk of homelessness.

You would be covering our dispersed properties in Central and North Lancashire, and therefore, driving is essential in this post.

Your office base will be at one of our offices in Preston or Chorley.

About the Role



As a Supported Housing Worker, you'll play a key role in helping our customers sustain their tenancies and live safely and independently. You'll be responsible for:

Carrying out needs and risk assessments, inductions, and support planning Providing practical support around budgeting, welfare rights, education, employment, and health Liaising with external agencies including housing departments, DWP, and health services Supporting customers to access training, employment, and community resources Monitor tenancy compliance, rent payments, and property safety Maintain accurate records and contribute to safeguarding and incident reporting Participate in team meetings, training, and service development Ensure adherence to the Supported Accommodation Regulations 2023.

What We're Looking For



We're seeking someone who is:

Experienced in housing management, supported housing, or housing advice. Knowledgeable about welfare rights, housing benefit, and safeguarding. Knowledge of the Supported Accommodation Regulations 2023. Skilled in managing caseloads, lone working, and liaising with external agencies. Confident, adaptable, and committed to delivering positive outcomes. A Level 3 QCF qualification (or willingness to work towards one) in housing, social care, or a related field is advantageous. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is required for managing dispersed properties.

Please note the successful candidate will be required to hold, or be prepared to undertake and attain the Children & Young Persons Workforce Level 3 qualification within 24 months of taking up the post.
