City College Peterborough is seeking a committed and proactive Supported Interns Tutor to support young people with additional needs on their journey into paid employment, training, or volunteering.

This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to guide, support, and empower young learners to build the confidence and skills they need to transition successfully into the world of work.

What We're Looking For:

A passion for working with young people and supporting those with additional needs.

Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with learners and stakeholders.

Experience in employability, education, youth work, or a related sector is desirable.

Knowledge (or willingness to develop knowledge) of Access to Work and other related employment benefits.

Ability to develop effective employer relationships and generate meaningful opportunities for learners.

Organised, proactive, and confident using CRM systems to keep records updated.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver tailored employability support to meet individual needs, deliver engaging classroom sessions focused on employability, reflection, and personal development.

Ensure each learner is placed in a meaningful and safe work-based placement, aligned with their skills

Conduct risk assessments and ensure all Health & Safety protocols are met before placements begin.

NB. All positions are working with 14-24 year old Learners
