The Role
We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and proactive Registered Manager to lead our 16+ supported living service. This is a pivotal leadership position where you'll shape the service's culture, uphold the highest standards of care, and make a lasting impact in the lives of young people as they build their futures.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the service, ensuring it meets all quality and regulatory requirements
Lead and inspire a committed staff team, promoting best practices and personal development
Champion a safe, nurturing environment with a strong focus on safeguarding and trauma-informed care
Collaborate with local authorities, families, and external agencies to ensure joined-up support
Drive service development in line with Kennores' mission, values, and care principles
Effectively manage staff rotas, referrals, budgets, and risk assessments
Ensure accurate documentation and maintain readiness for inspections and audits
What We're Looking For
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or currently working towards it)
Level 3 in Residential Childcare (preferred but not essential)
Strong track record of managing services for young people aged 16+ or care leavers
Excellent understanding of safeguarding, risk, and regulatory compliance
Proven leadership and interpersonal skills with a hands-on, proactive approach
A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
