East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH)

ensures the best possible quality of life and makes every moment count for children and families across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk. Our family-centred approach includes specialist nursing care, symptom management nursing, short breaks, wellbeing activities, therapies, care at end of life, bereavement support, counselling and volunteer services in the family home; all meeting the individual needs of the child, young person and whole family.


In 2020, all three of our hospices; The Nook (Norfolk), The Treehouse (Ipswich) and Milton (Cambridge) were rated OUTSTANDING by the Care Quality Commission.


Our people are central to our success. We have a talented workforce of staff and volunteers in Care, Fundraising, Retail, Facilities, IT, Finance, Marketing & Communications and Human Resources.


We're over 440 employees strong, with a team of more than 2,000 volunteers across the organisation including over 50 shops and a Retail Distribution Centre.


Supporter Care Officer




Location:

Flexible - across any of our 3 hospices


Hours:

Part Time, 22.5 hours per week


Working Pattern:

Hours worked as 3 days - 9am to 5pm, Wednesday to Friday


Salary:

24,156 pro rata, per annum


Contract Type:

Fixed Term - 12 months

Supporter Care Officer

to join our Fundraising Directorate. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering exceptional supporter experiences and making a meaningful impact in the lives of children, young people, and families across East Anglia.


About the Role:




As the first point of contact for our supporters, you'll provide outstanding customer service across phone, email, and web enquiries. You'll ensure every interaction is handled with gratitude, efficiency, and professionalism.


Key responsibilities include:




Responding to supporter enquiries and processing donations Maintaining accurate data on our fundraising database Writing supporter communications Supporting complaint resolution and complex queries Assisting with reporting and charity platform oversight Collaborating across teams to enhance the supporter journey

Do you have:




Experience in customer service and database usage Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Are you:




Highly organised and able to manage a varied workload Calm, empathetic, and professional in interactions Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
