Summary:
Surface repair technician/trainee. Construction Industry Site Based.This is an opportunity to receive in house training, and to qualify as a surface repair technician.
Role:
To repair and re-finish cosmetic damages to multiple surfaces such as laminates, wood veneers, UPVC, ceramics etc. The work is carried out on site.Experience:
A portion of the work includes mixing own colours by eye, painting in fine detail using art brushes and a pallet. Useful experience would be any work related to- Painting, Re-finishing, prep work, Art, Restoration.Skills/ Attributes:
Patience, Good eye for colour, Artistic, Craftsmanship, Perfectionist, Eye for fine detail, Enthusiasm, Punctuality, Hard working.Clean, full UK driving license required. Use of own vehicle is required during the training period.
Training:
In house training will be given to prepare for site visits, followed by on site training.Employees will begin working towards achieving NVQ L2 certificate in Associated Industrial Services Occupations- Damage Repair & Re-surfacing, and potentially more...
Pay:
Minimum wage will be paid throughout the training period, with appropriate wage increases to follow, once an adequate level of independence is achieved.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 25,000.00-30,000.00 per year
