Job Overview
As a Surfacing Operative, you will work as part of a dedicated crew to deliver resurfacing, patching, and maintenance works on highways, car parks, and other surfaces. You'll operate plant and machinery, ensure works meet quality standards, and maintain a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
Carry out tarmac/asphalt surfacing and reinstatement works Operate rollers, pavers, and other surfacing equipment Follow site safety procedures and traffic management plans Work collaboratively with the site team to meet deadlines Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
Requirements
Previous experience in road surfacing or a similar role (essential) CSCS card (essential) Full UK driving licence (preferable) Commitment to health & safety best practices Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional nights/weekends
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 1 - 2 weeks
Pay: 17.00-20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 per week
Work Location: Remote
