Prestigious Optilase Eye Clinic is currently looking to recruit a part-time surgery associate for our busy Belfast City-Centre Clinic.

Job Overview

:

Following appropriate training under supervision, and demonstration of competency, the post holder will carry out the role of surgery associate & laser technician within the surgery team.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:



Pre-operative testing; conducting scans prior to treatment Preparing and managing patient files, records and treatment plans Surgical confirmation calls and emails Surgery diary management Preparation and calibration of the laser platforms, understanding data, loading, and transferring data, safe running of the lasers & monitoring laser stock. Assisting treating surgeon with Laser procedures Participating in the end of treatment day/monthly activities including; filing, deep cleans, post-operative data collection Any ad hoc tasks and duties required by the company needs

Required Education, Training and/or Experience:



Previous optical experience essential Salary negotiable for previous technician experience
