Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys, collecting data, and preparing detailed reports to assist in the planning and execution of various projects. This role requires proficiency in data management and the use of advanced surveying tools and software, including SA001/SA002 S005/S006 (survey tickets)

Responsibilities

Conduct land surveys using appropriate techniques and equipment to determine property boundaries, topography, and other features. Collect, analyse, and manage survey data to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. Prepare detailed survey reports, maps, and drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant software. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to provide surveying support for construction projects. Maintain accurate records of surveys conducted and ensure all data is properly documented. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in land surveying. Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations governing land use and surveying practices.

Requirements

Proven experience in land surveying or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with GIS applications such as ArcGIS for spatial analysis. Strong data management skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in survey results. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. A valid driver's licence may be required for travel to various job sites.
