Steel Door Company specialises in designing and supplying high-end glazed steel doors. We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding quality and service to customers across the UK. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a driven and customer-focused Surveyor to join our team full-time.

The Role

We are seeking a confident and professional Surveyor who can combine technical accuracy with excellent customer service. You will be responsible for carrying out on-site surveys, taking precise measurements, and supporting customers as they make final decisions on their bespoke door designs.

This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You will be the face of the company on-site, ensuring customers feel supported and confident while also providing our installation team with accurate information.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out site surveys and take accurate measurements for bespoke steel door installations Advise and support customers with their final design and specification choices Provide detailed, accurate survey reports for the office and installation teams Maintain a professional and approachable manner at all times, representing the company on-site Work flexibly across the UK with regular travel Be willing to work overtime with uncapped earning potential Assist with installations where required
What We Are Looking For

Background in surveying, construction, or a similar trade (training provided for the right candidate) Strong customer service skills, confident speaking with clients and helping them make informed decisions A full, clean UK driving licence (essential) High attention to detail and pride in your work A proactive, driven individual with the flexibility to work overtime and travel nationwide Some hands-on installation experience or interest would be a bonus
