Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed site surveys to assess fire risks as per the FRA Report provided and determine the appropriate fire prevention measures. This role involves evaluating buildings and facilities, identifying potential fire hazards. The Surveyor will work closely with the Estimator to ensure the effective implementation of fire safety measures.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough site surveys of properties. Measure and assess the condition, functionality, and compliance of fire doors according to relevant standards and regulations. Accurately measure fire doors, including frame dimensions, gap sizes, and hardware placement. Evaluate the installation and condition of fire door components such as seals, hinges, latches, and closing mechanisms. Identify non-compliant firestopping and recommend corrective actions or replacements. Document and report any deficiencies and compliance issues. Collect and analyse data on building layouts, occupancy and existing fire protection systems. Ensure that all recommended solutions comply with relevant fire safety standards. Manage and maintain survey data and records efficiently. Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate surveying for projects Provide detailed explanations of survey findings Prepare detailed survey reports, including diagrams and photographs.
