Our specialist products and services include renewables such as solar panels and heat pumps, and energy efficient upgrades such as triple-glazed windows and doors, mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR) systems, and insulation and airtightness products.

We're looking for an Surveyor for our Cambridge branch who has experience with Surveying for air source heat pumps and Solar PV. We do things a bit differently here and provide training for our team to diversify their skills so they can support with the installation of the different products that we offer. We have branches all over the country so you'll mainly work in the area local to the branch with some support provided to other branches as needed.

What you can do for us:

You'll be part of a friendly team surveying properties for air source heat pumps, ground source heat pumps, solar PV, batteries and EV chargers. You'll be visiting customers in the homes, working from plans or conducting remote surveys to complete the survey information required for that install You'll identify and address obstructions to the installation Take photos of key areas Consider cable runs between panels, inverters, batteries and home electrical supply. Identify potential locations of equipment in discussion with the customer You will work predominantly within a reasonable area around the branch You'll learn more about the other renewable products that we provide and support with their installation as needed You'll communicate effectively with customer to explain how the products and systems work. You'll ensure the paperwork is completed for each job in a timely manner.

You'll need

Full UK driving licence GCSE/ O Levels A-C Customer service experience

Nice to have:

Domestic Energy Assessor qualification Experience of renewable energy systems Experience of working with solar PV and storage
