What this job involvesThe JLL Science and Innovation Agency team are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented newly qualified surveyor to join their close-knit team.



The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our clients in the life sciences, technology, and research sectors with their real estate needs.



This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of scientific innovation and commercial real estate.



Key Responsibilities

Assist in market research and analysis to identify suitable properties for science and innovation clients

Support the team in preparing property marketing materials and client presentations

Conduct property tours and inspections

Help maintain and update property databases and client information systems

Collaborate with senior team members on lease negotiations and transaction management

Contribute to business development initiatives and proposal writing

Analyse market trends and prepare reports on the science and innovation real estate sector

Assist in coordinating with other internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery



Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Life Sciences, or a related field

1-3 years of experience in commercial real estate or a relevant industry

Strong interest in the life sciences and technology sectors

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills



Desired Skills / Experience

Commercial knowledge of laboratory and research facility requirements

Understanding of sustainability practices in real estate

Experience with financial modelling and analysis

Ability to manage timelines and work under pressure to tight deadlines

Ability to communicate with clients and colleagues at all levels

A strong team player with the ability to multi-task and prioritise work commitments

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, entrepreneurial, industrious, and hungry for success
