We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. Responsibilities

Prepare and present sushi dishes according to traditional Japanese methods and restaurant specifications. Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality for meal preparation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow. Assist in menu development by suggesting new sushi items or improvements to existing offerings. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Provide excellent service by interacting with customers when necessary, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking, preferably within a restaurant setting. Previous kitchen experience, with a focus on culinary skills related to sushi making. Strong understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills, with a willingness to learn from others and share knowledge. A passion for Japanese cuisine and an eagerness to develop further culinary expertise in sushi preparation.
