With flexibility to travel/relocate across the region


Starting Salary:

30,000 per annum



Pathway:

Permanent, Full-time 2-year programme, leading to assistant level role upon completion with salary potential of CIRCA 38k

What you will be

responsible for?





As a Sustainability Graduate, you'll be across our projects with the Social Value and Environmental team. Working closely with our team of Environmental Advisors and Social Value Coordinators, supporting them in delivering targets across a wide range of contracts in Kier Places.


You will proactively work with project teams, subcontractors, and local stakeholder partners, to establish and develop social engagement sessions to help support the needs of our local community. The role will also involve ensuring environmental compliance through our system Rio, as well as reporting, monitoring, and analysing our social value and environmental data




What will your day-to-day duties include?




Working alongside our Environment Advisor and Social Value Coordinators to deliver agreed Environment and Social Sustainability targets during the lifecycle of the project. Be an active contributor to the Places strategy on all things Sustainability. Liaising with subcontractors to collate documentation and data for Environment and Social value. Uploading environmental information and documentation onto Rio ensuring legal compliance Attending meetings with projects and the Sustainability team. Assisting with arranging and delivery of engagement sessions/workshops/events with local education, employability, and community-based partners.

What are we looking for?





We're looking for people due to graduate in 2026, or have recently graduated within the past three years, with a degree in Environmental/ Sustainability or a related field.
