We are seeking skilled individuals to join our team in creating delicious sweet treats. The ideal candidate will have a passion for confectionery and a flair for creativity in producing high-quality candies.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for ensuring we follow the recipes on an industrial scale, weighing and preparing ingredients and making sure its cooked to the right temperature and consistency for the next stage of the production process Operate kitchen equipment to bake, cook, and decorate confectionery products You will be responsible for ensuring food production meets food safety and sanitation guidelines, as well as maintaining cleanliness in the confectionery production area Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies needed for confectionery production Collaborate with the team to develop new recipes and innovative confectionery creations All members of staff are required to work while wearing appropriate PPE e.g. long clothing, hearing and eye protection, and complying with the Company's Safe Manual Handling Policy

Qualifications

Applicants must have a basic English communication/understanding and basic math skills. We are looking for a strong person, who can handle lifting and working in a hot environment. You will need to be able to perform work in a standing position for long periods Previous experience in food preparation, culinary arts, or confectionery production is desirable Knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety practices Creativity and attention to detail in decorating confectionery products Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues
