We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Swim School Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the swim school, ensuring a safe and positive environment for all swimmers on the scheme. This role involves managing staff, coordinating swim programs, maintaining high-quality instruction standards, and driving business growth through excellent customer service and operational excellence.
They will contribute to the Facilities Improvement Plan, focusing on growth and income opportunities, while collaborating with the Business Development team to promote programmes and fill spaces. The role also involves managing the upkeep of the swimming pool, developing operational procedures, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and handling customer enquiries and financial records.
What will you be doing?

You will be managing a successful learn to swim programme, which delivers a range of lessons to children and adults.
Operational Management:
Oversee daily swim school activities including class schedules, pool maintenance, and health and safety regulations.
Staff Supervision and Training:
Recruit, train, support and manage swimming teachers. Conduct performance review and provide CPD opportunities.
Customer Service:
Manage the customer experience, handle enquiries and complaints professionally, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure all safety procedures (NOP/EAP) are followed
Financial:
Experience in working to agreed income and expenditure targets.
Reporting:
Prepare regular reports on enrolment, staff performance, financials, and overall swim school performance to senior management.

A passion for swimming
Swim England Level 2 certificate (Minimum 2 years' experience)
RLSS NPLQ qualification and/ or Trainer Assessor qualification (or ability to obtain).
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Knowledge of swimming techniques, safety regulations, and pool maintenance.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
